The CLARIOstar is BMG LABTECH’s newest microplate reader and it is the only reader on the market available with the three technologies required to run any assay in your laboratory; patented LVF monochromators, UV/vis spectrometer, and high transmission optical filters. The CLARIOstar does not compromise in sensitivity or flexibility, instead providing you with the tools to choose what is needed for your application.

The CLARIOstar can be equipped with the measurement modes and options you desire proving you access to a multitude of assay modes: fluorescence intensity, full-spectrum UV/vis measurements, BRET, FRET, fluorescence polarization, HTRF, AlphaScreen, AlphaLISA, atmospherically controlled growth studies, and much more. Coupled with an intuitive control software with built in fluorophore and lumiphore libraries, real-time kinetic displays, MARS data analysis software with templates for data analysis such as DNA quantitation, Z’, delta F, and more, the CLARIOstar can handle it all.

The CLARIOstar offers unmatched technology in a multimode reader. The LVF monochromators are a new innovative design that allows you to select your wavelength and bandpass, the bandpass being adjustable from 8nm to 100nm. This feature allows you to precisely tune the monochromator to your needs and provides you with sensitivity that matches filter performance.

The CLARIOstar’s UV/vis spectrometer can provide you with full-spectrum absorbance spectra, at a resolution of one nanometer, in less than one second per well. No other multimode microplate reader has this signature BMG LATBECH technology. Visualize your absorbance assays like you’ve never seen before.

And the CLARIOstar allow you to use high transmission filter for the best sensitivity for demanding HTRF, AlphaScreen, fluorescence polarization, and other challenging assays. In conjunction with on-board reagent injectors, Atmospheric Control Unit, direct optics, and ultra-sensitive bottom reading the CLARIOstar can read any assay you can develop.
